2024 WoMen’s Retreat/Seminar
This Year’s Topic
In Exodus 17, when Moses’ hands grew tired, Aaron and Hur held them up, one each side, so that they remained steady until sunset. Have you ever experienced that need to be held up by others—by your people?
Some of us began our Christian walk with the misconception that all we need is God. Or connecting with others in the past ended in hurt, and we are afraid to try again. Our speaker for this weekend, Heather Vaughn will help us explore obstacles to healthy community, and then look at the building blocks to creating a safe God-honoring community.
Let’s prepare to be both challenged and encouraged! And remember—the final deadline to register is Sunday August 4th. Don’t put it off—register today!
Our Speaker
We are thrilled to welcome Heather Vaughn as our retreat speaker! Heather brings 20 years of experience in overseas missions and church ministry to her work as a Christian counselor. She spent several years serving as a missionary in Costa Rica, and earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary.
She and her husband Jeff have been married over 25 years and have four amazing children and a grandbaby. Heather currently serves as a Christian counselor and she and Jeff provide missionary care with Mission to the World. Heather loves playing games with her family, walking her dogs, admiring spectacular Florida sunsets, and feeling the sand beneath her feet.
